These Terms govern your use of EffortlessVid (the “Service”), operated by EffortlessVid (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
EffortlessVid generates video assets — scripts, voiceovers, images, video clips, thumbnails, and a rendered MP4 — from a topic you provide, using third-party AI models. Output is produced automatically and may vary in quality, accuracy, and originality.
2. Accounts
Sign-in is passwordless (magic link or Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
3. Credits & billing
- The Service runs on prepaid credits. Payments are processed by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record; their terms also apply to your purchase.
- Credits are consumed when you generate assets and are non-refundable once spent, except where required by law.
- Generation cost is estimated before each job; we may adjust credit pricing with notice.
- You are responsible for any taxes not collected by the Merchant of Record.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that:
- is illegal, infringes intellectual property, or violates third-party rights;
- is defamatory, deceptive, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative;
- impersonates a person or brand, or spreads disinformation;
- violates the terms of YouTube or any platform you publish to.
You also agree not to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service, or attempt to bypass credit limits or rate limits.
5. Your content & ownership
You retain ownership of the topics and inputs you provide and, to the extent permitted by the underlying model providers, of the assets you generate. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver your inputs and outputs solely to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you generate and publish, including securing any rights and complying with platform rules.
6. AI-generated content
Output is generated by automated models and is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee it is accurate, original, non-infringing, or fit for any purpose. Review and edit output before publishing. AI models may produce similar results for different users.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Supabase (auth, database, storage), the APImart AI gateway, Paddle (payments), and Google/YouTube (optional niche data and uploads). Your use may be subject to their terms, and their availability is outside our control.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users. Unused credits may be forfeited on termination for cause.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content you generate or publish.
10. Changes & contact
