This Policy explains how EffortlessVid, operated by EffortlessVid, collects and uses your information. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address (and Google profile basics if you use Google sign-in).
- Content: the topics, scripts, and settings you submit, and the assets we generate for you.
- Usage: generation jobs, credit transactions, and basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
- Payments: handled by Paddle. We receive transaction references, not your full card details.
- YouTube (optional): if you connect a channel, OAuth tokens to upload on your behalf.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service — generate, store, and deliver your assets.
- To meter and bill credits, and prevent abuse.
- To communicate sign-in links and important account notices.
- To maintain security, debug, and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sub-processors
We share data only as needed with service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- APImart — the AI gateway that generates scripts, audio, images, and video.
- Upstash — the job queue / rate-limit store.
- Paddle — payment processing (Merchant of Record).
- Google / YouTube — only if you use the niche finder or connect a channel.
4. Retention
We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can delete projects at any time; deleting your account removes your personal data and content, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or anti-fraud purposes.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Secrets are server-side only and never exposed to the browser. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their data-protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
